On September 8, 2009, I arrived at WFMU station HQ’s to photograph anchor, tent-pole, linchpin, pillar, mainstay, vital element, cornerstone, treasure and host Tom Scharpling of "The Best Show". Picture taking info: You'll note that there are professional light sources in the room. I ignored them in favor of the usual way the room is lit. This is in keeping with my desire to be as undetectable as possible, for the comfort of the subjects and in order to get more natural pictures. None of the people covered in this piece are still for more than a second or two. Never wanting to use a flash either, images are soft. I live with it, stand by it, no excuses. Hope you will too.
